Original reclaimed blacksmith made wrought iron quadrant window stay.
An early 18th century stay extremely hard to find now,this one has a sprung riser for the window to open on until it meets the nicely fashioned stop with rat tail detail (this is repeated under the spring also),there is a gap of 1.1/8" at this point for the window.
Measures 10" across frame fixings each of 1.1/2" x 1".Protrusion 6.1/4".
