Oak cased lock with applied Gothic decoration to corners.
Unusual to find a lock of this type with handle operated latch which also deadlocks,most are straightforward deadlocks.Another unusual thing is the fact that it has the makers name of "Rigby & Greer - Lancashire" stamped to the stock edge,the reverse is also stamped "Protected".
Complete with original key and spun brass door knobs.
Lock body measures 9" x 5.1/2" x 1.3/8".Keep 1.1/8" wide.
Spindle 5.7/8" from door edge & 2.3/8" from lower edge.
Keyhole 3.1/4" & 2.1/4".
Knob diameter 2.1/8".Protrusion from lock 2.1/8".
Suitable for doors up to 1.3/4" in thickness (contact me if thicker required).
