Original reclaimed large Victorian quality oak cased dead lock typically used on church doors and circa 1870 in date.
Has large Gothic key plate and applied metal banding,again in Gothic style which is repeated on the matching keep.Complete with original key.
Shows some woodworm holes (treated) to lower part of case.
Lock body measures 11" x 7" x 2".Keep 2.3/8" wide.
Key length suitable for doors up to 2.1/2" in thickness.
