Original reclaimed & restored Victorian night rim latch by Hobbs & Co.Circa 1880 in date.
Flush fit latch with polished brass keep,knob and makers label.For right hand fitting.
The brass knob slides back to release latch,this can be held in the open or closed position with the pin inserted (pin hangs on chain attached to door when not in use).Access from outside is by key only.
Lock faceplate measures 4.1/8" x 4.1/2" with a return of 1.3/8".Requires a rebate of 4" x 2.3/4" x 3/4" to fit.
Keyhole 1.7/8" from door edge & 2" from bottom.Maximum door thickness with key provided is 1.3/4"
