Original fine quality polished brass bell pull with bone handle dating to circa 1870.
Star burst detail to faceplate.
A sign of its quality is that it has a pulley and chain to the reverse, this allows for the pull to be either horizontal, vertical up or down, and left or right. The bone pull knob shows a couple of hairline faults, these have probally always been there and in no way detract from its fitness for purpose.Brass is a rich yellow colour.
The faceplate removes to reveal three fixing holes.Pulley mechanism requires a pocket of 2" x 1.3/4" to fit.
Faceplate diameter 3.3/4",rod length 3.3/4",chain 6".
