Original Victorian heavy cast iron door knocker of circa 1870-1900 with very fine casting detail.

The head is banded by a floral wreath with swag below,above is a plaque designed to be engraved with address or occupants name,over which is another foliate group,the drop loop knocker being in the form of a laurel wreath.

A one piece knocker requiring no separate stud,supplied complete with new fixings.

Measures 4.1/2" wide,height 8.1/2".
