Original reclaimed,restored superb quality late Georgian brass cased lockable rim latch with moulded edge and matching keep C.1820.
Has interior thumb slide privacy bolt.Designed for secret fixing showing no fixing holes,this it retains although,two extra fixing holes have been drilled near to the right hand edge at some point in it's 200 plus year history.There is also a small 1/4" hole to the top moulding (visible in the picture below).
Showing no key hole to the room side,the original relatively short (Maximum door thickness 1.1/2") wire bow key deadlocks from outside.Accepts standard size spindle for door knobs.
Lock body measures 7.1/2" x 5.1/2".Keep 1.1/4" wide.
