Original reclaimed and refurbished Georgian brass cased lockable rim latch of circa 1780.Has sliding interior privacy bolt,double throw dead lock action,key hole cover,original Georgian wire bow key and accepts standard size spindle for door knobs (the follower has been replace to take these).For left hand fitting and supplied with new cast brass keep to match.There are surface marks to the lock case with one area (to left of spindle) more noticeable,this is to be expected of an item that has been used for over 230 years and is probably good for another 230!
Lock body measures 8" x 4.5/8" x 1.1/4".Keep 1.1/16" wide.
