Original reclaimed pair of superb quality decorative Victorian wrought iron Church door type hinges with scrolled and patterned ends.The straps are stop chamfered and have rosette finials,one of which has some loss due to corrosion (see picture below).The hinges have now been treated against further corrosion,blackened and lacquered for protection.
These are fully working heavy duty hinges designed to wrap around a door thickness of 2.1/4" (or less with packing),alternatively they could be used purely as highly decorative hinge fronts only.
